Food allergies in kids
Food allergy is one of the most common problems that occurs with various symptoms. Food allergy is a digestive disorder in children that has increased in prevalence in the last few years.
The most common form of digestive involvement caused by allergies in infants and babies is colitis. These infants present with blood in their stools and have restlessness and abdominal pain. And sometimes they have other symptoms of allergies such as redness on the cheeks and eczema of the limbs and a history of allergies in other family members.
Allergic colitis is diagnosed with a history and examination by a pediatric specialist, of course, the definitive diagnosis of allergic colitis is with colonoscopy and biopsy, but it is not necessary in all patients. And another diagnostic method is the appropriate response to stop the allergen.
